Functional Consultant (CX Domain)

Job Overview:

SoftClouds LLC is looking for a Functional Consultant that is passionate about delivering excellence,
making a difference, and taking our clients digital transformation to the next level. This is a high visibility position
where you will understand the needs of our clients, balance them with project constraints, map them against
technology capabilities and communicate the solution to internal and external stakeholders. Primarily you will be
working in the CX domains (Customer experience, sales, service, knowledge, CPQ) and are expected to bring both
domain and technical expertise to the project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document requirements, align solutions to the requirements, testing, provide training, and
    support the deployment and ongoing business use of the CX solution.
  • Utilize SDLC-based methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid Waterfall/Agile approaches.
  • Organize, manage, and lead requirements and design workshops. Manage group meetings and dynamics
    such as dissenting viewpoints and/or conflicting business needs for resolution.
  • Understand requirements, business models, CX product constraints to recommend best practice solutions.
    Balance technology with Client/Project needs.
  • Document requirements, process flows, use cases, test cases, and process constraints.
  • Supplement PMO offices documenting RAID logs, schedule changes, plans, and change requests.
  • Support sales teams and sales opportunities by demonstrating the systems, interviewing prospects for their
    future needs, and documenting high level tasks and processes.
  • Participate as a team member implementing and/or supporting CRM solutions, Oracle on-prem and/or
    Oracle Cloud CX, SFDC Cloud Solutions, or similar business solutions.
  • Deliver Train the Trainer and/or End User Training.
  • Plan, execute, and participate in post Go Live production support.
  • Work with teams and clients across global locations and engage via phone and/or text chat with clients.

  • Travel, if needed, to client locations or for other project needs.
  • Ability to perform other duties and responsibilities, as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in consulting or enterprise organizations, implementing and/or supporting cloud
    and/or on-premises applications.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience as an implementer or a business super user within the functions of
    Sales, Sales support, Customer service, or Quote to Order.
  • Hands on experience leading and/or participating with various client groups and project and program team
    sizes, including internal and external resources, to drive out business approaches and/or technical solutions
    while holding to scope and schedule constraints.
  • Hands on experience working as business analyst, super user, business architect, system admin, project
    analyst on at least 3 full cycle implementations.
  • Oracle CX, SFDC, and/or other Business Solution Certifications are a plus.
  • Desire and proven experience to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
    demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills, both written
    and oral with technical and non-technical staff, at all levels of end-user experience.
  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to adapt to change
    and competing demands.

  • Experience in creation, execution, and follow-up to the closure of Integration and UAT test cases, with
    experience on at least 2 different projects performing the role of test lead and/or test manager.
  • Experience leading and/or participating with various client groups and project and program team sizes,
    including internal and external resources, to drive out business approaches and/or technical solutions while
    holding to scope and schedule constraints.
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft Suite Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio

Education:

  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or related field.
  • Oracle CX, SFDC, and/or other Business Solution Certifications are a plus.
